Step 1: Shave the area that you want to use your IPL handset on before every session and make sure that the skin is dry. Do not apply any lotions, powders, anti-perspirants, and/or gels before your session.
Step 2: Plug your handset into a power outlet. Press and hold the power button to switch the device on.
Step 3: Press the power button again to select your preferred intensity level. There are five intensity levels indicated by the intensity lights on the bottom left side of the display screen. Continue to press the power button until the desired intensity level is selected as shown on the display screen. One light indicates that the device is set to level one intensity (the lowest) and five lights indicate that the device is set to level five intensity (the highest).
Step 4: To activate ice cooling press the ice button. Once activated you will see the ice mode light on the display screen.
Step 5: Place the flash window flat against your skin on the area that you want to treat and press the flash button to release one flash. Note: As a safety feature, the flash will not work unless the light window is placed flat against the surface of your skin.
